Get involved with Berkshire Busk! We're seeking a few volunteers to supplement our team to make our 2026 festival a success. Our areas of high interest include:

Social Media Volunteer

​

Love capturing moments and being at the center of the action? Join the Berkshire Busk Social Media Team! Volunteers will attend a variety of fun community events on Fridays and Saturdays from July 3–September 5, including our downtown Great Barrington festival, the Great Barrington Farmers Market, Saturday afternoons at Berkshire Mountain Distillers, and select community days at Tanglewood.

You’ll help capture the energy of the festival by recording short vertical video reels of performers for Berkshire Busk’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts. Perfect for anyone interested in social media, photography/video, music, or community events — no professional experience required, just enthusiasm and a good eye for fun moments!

 

We are seeking volunteers at a variety of hourly commitments, but the time frame of activities are generally:

 

• Fridays & Saturdays, 6:30-8:30pm, 7/3-9/5

• Saturday mornings, 10-12:30pm, all summer long

• Saturday afternoons, 3-5pm, 7/3-9/5

• Housatonic Day, 7/18, 2:30-5pm

 

Volunteers receive free ice cream gift cards and the chance to be part of a lively, creative community event. All ages welcome!

Green Team Volunteer

Help us keep Berkshire Busk beautiful! Green Team volunteers help make sure we leave Railroad Street even better than we found it during festival weekends from July 3–July 18, plus our Housatonic event on the afternoon of July 18.

 

Volunteers will help keep trash and recycling bins from overflowing, pick up litter, and support a clean, welcoming festival environment for performers, businesses, and visitors alike. It’s a simple but hugely important role that helps the whole event run smoothly.

 

For this project, we are seeking volunteers for the following days/times:

• July 3, July 4, July 10, July 11, July 17, July 18: 7-9PM on Railroad Street in Great Barrington

• July 18th, 3-5pm on Depot St in Housatonic
