Cate Great: Lower Railroad Street

What can be said about the Cate Great! Show that isn’t in the name? Cate blends high-end circus with unique comedy. You will be charmed by her wit and astounded by her skill. Whether she is precariously balanced on her rolla bolla or defying gravity balanced on her hands you will be thrilled and amazed (don’t know what a rolla bolla is? Come down to the show, you will not be disappointed). Trained at The Quebec Circus School, Cate is a seventeen-year veteran of circus stage and street. She’s performed in eleven different countries including: Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Dubai as well as most of the United States and Canada. She’s charming, she’s talented–she’s not just great, she’s Cate Great!

Garrin Benfield: Upper Railroad Street

Brooklyn and Hillsdale, NY-based singer songwriter Garrin Benfield has released five full length albums and has been touring nationally since 2000. Employing live looping, Garrin improvises rhythmic jams and soundscapes that emerge organically from his own original songs and eclectic covers.

Willy Welch: Triplex Courtyard

Willy Welch, a professional singer/songwriter since age fifteen, has appeared in venues such as Folk City, Speakeasy, Bitter End, and Uncle Calvin's. His compositions have been performed & recorded by dozens of artists, including Peter Paul & Mary (“Right Field”), Dallas Shakespeare Festival (Two Gentlemen of Verona). He also composed thirty-six songs for the TV show Barney & Friends (PBS). Trained as an actor at the Boston U., he often combines his skills, in shows such as Woody Guthrie’s American Song, Assassins, Cotton Patch Gospel, Pump Boys & Dinettes, Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues and Smoke on the Mountain. Off B'way, Willy appeared in Flipside, the Patti Page Musical, and in Texas in Paris, opposite Tony award-winning star Lilias White. While husband & father in the long-running domestic comedy “The Welch Family,” has spent much of his performing time as “Mr. Willy,” a beloved children’s entertainer.

Poppy: Robin's Candy

Poppy is a traveling henna artist, passionate about body adornment and connection through art. Hailing from Arizona, she’s been making her way around the country for the past year and a half, and will be debuting for the second time at Berkshire Busk this summer!

Rick and Marilyn: Carr Hardware

Rick and Marilyn perform Guitar-centric, edgy, acoustic rock music. Rick's intricate guitar solos support Marilyn's heartfelt vocals and driving rhythm guitar while they play originals and classic hippie/folk/rock songs.

Ryan Leddick: Rubiner's Alley

Ryan Leddick is a queer folk/rock artist whose music is rooted in a childhood listening to classic rock and the folk music of his native Adirondacks—as well as anything else he could get to work on his parents’ sound system. The result is a distinctive fusion of life experience, diverse influences and a strong artistic vision. When you listen to his music, you can hear all of that echo in his unique sound. Leddick, who has shared the stage with Damien Rice, Of Good Nature, and Brian Dunne to name a few, is also a formally trained vocalist and has toured the Northeast for the better part of a decade, in both group and solo acts. He’s now based in Troy, New York, and continues to travel regionally to perform for crowds large and small.

Kevin Devaney, Poet: TP Saddleblanket

Kevin Devaney is passionate about individuals experiencing the arts as part of their daily life without gatekeepers or ivory towers. Devaney has been traveling the world with a typewriter and all the words he can fit in his head since 2016, though his study of poetry precedes that wild jump by over two decades. He has a passion for bookbinding, as well as fabrication of other objects and experiences in which individuals can step outside of themselves and open to wonder. As an educator, Devaney has taught poetry to students ages 8-78 in college lecture halls, private classes, writing retreats and summer camps alike. He holds an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College, and has created over 130 books of poetry

Avi Jacob: Gorham & Norton

Avi Jacob first started songwriting at age 5 and was giving performances of original music by the time he started high school. He is now an internationally touring artist, winner of a 2022 New England Music Award, and has performed with Dr. John, the Lone Bellow, and many others.
